Alite is a personal finance tracker. It lets you record accounts, transactions, transfers, budgets, goals and recurring items across multiple currencies, and it computes figures such as net worth, income, expenses and savings rate directly from the data you enter.

Alite is a record-keeping and informational tool. It is not a bank, it does not move or hold your money, and it does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any decisions you make using the figures shown.

You can register with an email address and password, or continue with your Alite account, the single sign-in shared across the Alite ecosystem. In either case you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

The financial data you enter is yours. You can view, edit, export and delete it within the Service, and you grant us only the permission needed to store and process it so the Service can work for you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, access data that is not yours, probe or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

To convert between currencies, Alite uses rates from a third-party provider. Those rates are provided for convenience and may be delayed or approximate. Alite does not guarantee the accuracy of any rate, and every transaction retains the rate recorded at the time it was entered rather than being re-priced later.

We work to keep Alite available and reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alite is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss resulting from reliance on the figures it displays or from data you entered.

You may stop using Alite and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or if it is necessary to protect the Service or its users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
